Italian 'amethyst climb' virgin wool blend boucle panel

A very limited gem! From Italian designer deadstock, this is a stunning virgin wool and viscose blend panel print, a substantial but not at all dense woven in a medium coating weight with body and some firmness in the drape. The intriguing "amethyst climb" design is reminiscent of moonlit mountain views with shades of gray and rich purple jewel tones. Each panel is about 1 yard long, with one purple band located in the center of that yard. The wool content lends to an ultra-cozy texture, and each yarn-dyed section of this design has its own character regarding not just color but texture and finish. Exquisite quality! Perfect for an autumnal wrap or cape, a lined or unlined coat or jacket. Dry cleaning is recommended.
